About

Who am I?

A freelance developer based in Budapest, who takes ideas from concept to completion.

I'm Thomas Grega, I live in Budapest. I work as a freelance developer under the nickname THoMZoNE – I primarily create unique web applications that I believe can make our everyday lives easier.

My passion is creating web3 applications, which are an essential part of today's blockchain technologies. I like working with artificial intelligence, as it makes work significantly easier and faster.

I have a chronic illness, which makes my work and life more challenging. However, I don't let it stop me from pursuing my passion for development and creating innovative solutions.

Openly, honestly

What I Don't Usually Share

It all started in February 2026. I visited my doctor due to constant abdominal pain and nausea, who found 2 fists of resistance, so she sent me to the emergency room. Ultrasound and CT, already suspected of a tumor, sent me for a biopsy, where in May it was determined that I had to fight a malignant GIST cancer measuring more than 14 x 13 x 8 cm. At first they wanted to remove it surgically, but after looking at the CT scans, they sent me to another state hospital, where they primarily decided to treat me with medication. So now I almost live as if that day were my last. And while I hope, I build.

„It's not how much you hit, it's how many hits you can take when you have to stay on your feet, how much you can handle when you have to keep going.”
